Radical Australia fast man, Peter Paddon has proved his worth on a world stage on the weekend, taking the Radical European Masters SR3 class win at Monza. With the assistance of LMP2 driver and regular Radical Australia coach James Winslow, the duo managed to take the overall round win by winning Race 1 and following up with two more podium finishes across the weekends three races.
Peter also managed further accolades being awarded the driver of the weekend award. An impressive international showing for Peter up against some of the best Radical drivers in the world. In true Aussie style, he even managed a Dan Ricciardo-esk ‘Shoey’ on the podium keeping the Aussie spirit alive on the famous Monza podium.
This result is testament to the huge time and effort that Peter has put into his driving over the past couple of years. He has always taken advantage of the coaching programs provided by Radical Australia and maximised the benefits of the advice offered to him. Pete can hold his head up high after his results in Monza demonstrating that he is not only the benchmark in the Australian Radical Cup but has proved himself internationally as well.
A huge congratulations to Pete from the team at Radical Australia and we all look forward to seeing him on track in the Radical Australia Cup as we head to the title deciding final round at Highlands Motorsport Park in NZ next month.
